Privacy policy

• ·To send you an order: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address.
• ·To keep your account: your email address and a password we never see in readable form, since it is stored only as a one-way hash. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and no password at all.
• ·To run the shop: what you ordered, what you paid, your saved addresses, and what is in your bag.
• ·For the tax invoice: your name and address, and your state, which decides the GST that applies.

We ask for nothing we do not need. There is no date of birth field, no gender field and no marketing profile.

Every order is paid online through PhonePe, by UPI, card or net banking, on PhonePe’s own secure page. Your card number, UPI PIN, CVV and net banking password are entered there and are never sent to this website, never pass through our servers, and are never stored by us. We are told only whether the payment succeeded, and an amount and reference for it.

We use four cookies, all our own, all necessary for the shop to work. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics scripts and no tracking pixels on this site, from us or from anyone else.

• ·One remembers which bag is yours, so what you add survives a page reload.
• ·One keeps you signed in after you sign in.
• ·One remembers where to send you back to after signing in, and lasts ten minutes.
• ·One briefly holds the name and phone you typed while registering, so the form survives a mistyped password.

• ·The courier: your name, address and phone number, because a parcel cannot be delivered without them.
• ·The payment gateway, PhonePe: the amount, the order reference and whatever you type on their page. We never send them your order history.
• ·Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google, and only to confirm who you are.
• ·The tax authorities: through the GST returns the shop is required to file.

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to anybody for advertising. There is no third party in this list that is there for our convenience rather than to complete your order.

Your account and its addresses stay until you ask us to delete them. Orders and their tax invoices are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires records to be kept, which we cannot shorten even at your request. Everything else goes when your account does.

Message us and we will, without argument: tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your account and its addresses, or send you a copy of your orders. We may ask you to confirm you are the account holder before doing any of it, which protects you rather than us.

You can also edit your name, phone and addresses yourself under your account.

The site is served over an encrypted connection, passwords are stored only as hashes, and the pages that show your orders, addresses and invoices check that the order is yours before showing anything. We are a small shop and we do not pretend to be a bank, which is exactly why payment details are handled by the gateway and not by us.

This shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for children, and if you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will remove them.

If we ever change this policy we will change the date at the bottom of this page, and if the change is significant we will say so on the shop itself rather than hoping you re-read it.

Write to the Grievance Officer with your order number and what went wrong. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days of receiving it.
